Taking more of an interest in getting out in nature, my brother joined me again (though, this interest may have coincided with his new job giving him most weekends off so he can finally join my adventures). I gave him a choice in trails and he picked “water,” so we made our way out to North Hydro Park.
We really expected more water for a park with hydro in the name, but the majority of the trail, while it goes along the river, hides the water. The last ¼ mile of the trail does expose you to the Huron River a bit more and we walked down onto some of the boardwalks to get a bit closer to the water too. From these areas, you can see one of the many dams on the river too.
